About the Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to support a major finance transformation initiative across our AMEC region. As a Finance & Sales Tax Project Specialist, you will play a key role in preparing financial data, supporting sales tax readiness, and ensuring smooth system transitions during a large-scale integration project.

You will collaborate closely with Finance, Tax, IT, and Project teams to support the successful delivery of the GTM Phase 2 project. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial data and supporting critical business operations.

What You Will Bring to the Role

  • You have at least 3 years of general accounting or financial audit experience
  • You have strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining accurate financial data
  • You are comfortable working with financial systems and reconciling transactional data
  • You have experience supporting financial processes such as sales tax, order-to-cash, or intercompany transactions
  • You are proactive and able to manage tasks within a structured project environment
  • You have strong collaboration skills and enjoy working across cross-functional teams
  • You are confident identifying discrepancies and escalating issues when needed
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
