Parameta Solutions Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting. Role Overview In the role of Associate, Analyst, Operational Excellence, you will play an important role in supporting strategic transformation and continuous improvement across the division. You will be expected to work closely with cross functional teams to optimise operational performance by enhancing data quality, optimising delivery models and driving process efficiency in line with the company’s growth objectives. We’re scaling operational efficiency across the business—standardizing processes, instrumenting telemetry, and converting data into decisions. You’ll sit at the junction of ops, data, and change management: diagnosing bottlenecks, building the data layer and dashboards that expose them, and partnering with leaders to land measurable improvements. Role Responsibilities As an Operations Excellence Associate/Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving strategic transformation and continuous improvement across the division. You will partner closely with cross‑functional teams to optimise operational performance by improving data quality, refining delivery models, and enhancing process efficiency in support of the company’s growth objectives. This role sits at the intersection of operations, data, and change management. You will diagnose bottlenecks, help build the data and telemetry needed to surface operational insights, and work with senior leaders to translate these insights into measurable improvements. You will contribute to scaling operational excellence across the business by standardising processes, strengthening governance, and converting data into actionable decisions. Process Improvement & Operating Model Map and optimise end‑to‑end processes across Sales Ops, Client Onboarding, Data Ops, Finance, and Support. Lead root cause analysis using structured methods (5 Whys, fishbone, Pareto) and design future‑state processes with clear controls, handoffs, and SLAs. Establish lightweight governance frameworks including definitions, RACIs, SOPs, and success metrics. Perform process, data, and compliance risk assessments and design mitigation or contingency workflows. Define and track key metrics, RCA themes, and controls for continuous improvement. Telemetry, Instrumentation & Data Insights Define leading and lagging indicators to monitor throughput, cycle time, error rates, rework, and service levels. Develop and maintain semantic models for operational analytics (fact/dimension tables, SCD patterns, data contracts). Build automated Power BI dashboards with drill‑through, row‑level security, parameters, and alerting. Collaborate with engineering/data teams to ensure robust event instrumentation and data quality (freshness, completeness, lineage). Identify opportunities for workflow automation using low‑code tools, macros, and triggers to reduce manual effort. Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and benefit realisation. Data Access & Analysis Write efficient SQL in Snowflake (CTEs, window functions, clustering, cost optimisation). Build reproducible data transformations (dbt or SQL‑based patterns) with clear documentation of logic and business rules. Conduct exploratory analyses to size opportunities, quantify impact, and make recommendations. Perform scenario modelling and operational impact analyses for new products or processes. Change Delivery & Stakeholder Management Lead improvement sprints from discovery through to adoption, ensuring measurable value delivery. Run workshops, playback sessions, and executive updates; translate technical findings into business‑ready insights. Apply consulting‑grade problem‑solving methods, structured recommendations, and clear trade‑off analysis. Experience & Competencies Essential Demonstrated experience in Operational Excellence, Business Operations, Strategy & Analytics, or top‑tier/boutique consulting with hands‑on execution. Proven SQL capability (joins, window functions, performance tuning) and Snowflake experience (RBAC, virtual warehouses, query optimisation). Proficiency in Power BI (data modelling, DAX, RLS, parameters, deployment pipelines). Practical experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or equivalent methodologies with tangible impact. Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to frame problems, influence decisions, and drive cross‑functional change. Comfort operating in ambiguity with strong structured thinking and hypothesis‑driven problem solving. JIRA/Azure DevOps (work tracking) Confluence/Notion (documentation) Miro (process mapping, workshops) Desired Experience with dbt, Git, and CI/CD workflows for analytics. Knowledge of event instrumentation or product analytics concepts (events/properties, sessionisation). Python for lightweight analytics, automation, or API interaction. Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, SnowPro, Power BI Data Analyst Associate. Domain experience in data products, market data, or B2B SaaS environments.
