Laundry Aide

Responsibilities

• ash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry for residents and facility departments
• Ensure linens, towels, and personal laundry are returned clean and in good condition
• Respect residents’ privacy and preferences at all times, including knocking before entering rooms
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
• Promote a positive attitude and strong sense of community among staff and residents
• Demonstrate genuine compassion for the elderly and an understanding of the aging process

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a healthcare or senior living environment is a plus but not required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, respectful, and compassionate
