Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company. About the Role We are looking for a Senior Consultant in SAP Finance & Controlling who could combine the role of Team Lead with that of Senior Functional Consultant. In the Team Lead role, you will lead a team of Solution Architects and Subject Matter Experts and align with Business Process Owners and local business stakeholders to deliver integrated FICO solutions in a global, multi-project SAP S/4HANA roll-out program. You will oversee FICO activities for the different projects, prioritize the work and make sure the team delivers quality work within the foreseen project timelines. In the Senior Functional Consultant role, you will act as Subject Matter Expert in individual SAP S/4HANA roll-out projects for the SAP CO module, focusing on system configuration, functional analysis, testing, training and data migration support. What you will be doing Team Leadership & Resource Management People Management: Assist the S4 OTC & FI Delivery Manager with resource planning, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for your team (up to 5 team members) Workstream Facilitation: Drive weekly functional and project stream meetings to discuss progress, log actions/decisions, and prioritize cross-project Change Requests alongside SAP Solution Architects and Business Process Owners (BPO) Delivery & Project Execution Planning & Monitoring: Partner with Project Managers to align team deliverables with the overarching project roadmap Quality Assurance: Oversee and review core team deliverables — including requirements analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, defect resolution, training, and hyper-care support — for completeness and accuracy Reporting: Provide comprehensive weekly status updates and oversee time-tracking validation across multi-project initiatives Customizing in SAP CO, functional analysis and testing (WRICEF), participate in data design and validations (especially around sales order costing), train Business Key Users and provide users support during hyper-care Stakeholder & Template Alignment Global Template Governance: Specifically for Finance & Controlling, work closely with Global SAP Solution Architects to maintain global template consistency across diverse business units What will make you successful? Experience: 8+ years of experience as an SAP FI/CO functional consultant with 3 years in a Team Lead role Proven success in driving SAP S/4HANA implementation lifecycle phases (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Rollouts) using SAP Activate and Agile methodologies Hands-on SAP CO customizing and implementation experience Worked in enterprise-level, global SAP project environments Strong understanding of end-to-end finance and controlling business processes Demonstrated track record of leading small teams of around 5 people Experience with designing and implementing SAP FI/CO solutions in S/4 HANA environments Strong domain experience in manufacturing industries (preferably Metal and/or Automotive), preferably in a MTO (Make to Order) environment Technical & Functional Expertise: Expert-level understanding of the SAP product suite, customization, and underlying module architecture within your functional workstream Solid grasp of SAP integration (iDocs, eDocs, EDI) and basic ABAP debugging General understanding of environment management, release control, code versioning, and deployment best practices Working experience with Fiori and SAP Analytics Cloud.
