Role overview
Operating in a fast-moving environment shaped by rapidly evolving technology, this role focuses on designing, delivering and scaling GenAI-enabled solutions across the firm and for clients, with a strong emphasis on rapid, accelerator-style engagements.
Reporting to a Senior Transformation Manager, you will join a high-performing team at the forefront of AI adoption in legal services.
You will support the translation of emerging AI capabilities into practical legal applications, contributing to productivity gains and improvements in how legal work is delivered.
In this role, you will
Support AI engagements with internal teams and clients, assisting in identifying use cases and developing working prototypes and solutions.
Work with lawyers, clients and technologists to support the design, testing and deployment of AI solutions across key legal workflows (e.g. drafting, review, research, knowledge).
Assist in the development, testing and refinement of prompts and GenAI tools, supporting the delivery of practical, high-quality outputs.
Contribute to the development of repeatable AI solutions, playbooks and frameworks to support scalable deployment across the firm.
Support client-facing innovation programs, including preparing materials and assisting in delivering AI-enabled transformation initiatives.
Work with legal and risk teams to support responsible AI use, including governance, compliance and quality assurance.
Stay up to date with developments in AI, legal tech and emerging tools, and contribute to identifying relevant applications for the firm.
We are open to candidates based in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
About you
Experience or exposure to legal practice, legal operations, professional services or transformation environments, with an interest in AI or legal technology initiatives.
Technically proficient with a strong understanding of legal technology ecosystems, data infrastructure, and AI-driven solutions (including GenAI), with the ability to support end-to-end implementation and work closely with technical teams on design and delivery.
Strong understanding of GenAI and its applications across legal workflows or broader professional services environments.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, iterative delivery environments (e.g. sprints, pilots, accelerators).
Comfortable working across legal and technical domains, supporting the translation of user needs into practical solutions using AI.
Interest in innovation and transformation within a legal or professional services context, with exposure to supporting client-facing work.
Proactive, curious and comfortable working in ambiguous or evolving areas.
