This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with limited experience in the optical industry who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic retail environment. Responsibilities Engage customers to understand their optical needs and preferences. Recommend suitable eyewear products and upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience. Complete sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems. Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue goals. Build rapport with customers and follow up to ensure satisfaction. Prepare lenses for edging, operate machinery, and shape lenses to precise specifications. Ensure quality control throughout the edging process and inspect lenses for defects. Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols. Collaborate with optical professionals and stay updated on industry trends. Participate in upskilling and training opportunities to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques. Requirements Foundational educational requirement for entry into the workforce.
