Large Assembly Production Worker (2nd Shift)

About The Role
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules.
- Align with and maintain areas to 5S standards.
- Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions.
- Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Produce quality parts/assemblies and eliminate the cost of non-conformance.
- Perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.
- Align with all safety and work instructions.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as the need arises.
- Reduce lead times and optimize production cycle to conform to "make-to-order".
- Maintain competitive cost associated assembly including labor, material, tooling, inventory, etc.
- For This Role, You Will Need:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; strength in arms and legs.
- Mechanical attitude (demonstrated through interest or experience in areas such as automotive, construction, computers, etc.).
- Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.
- Use of precision measurement tool and gauges.
- Shop math and ability to complete calculations using handbook formulas.
- Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 – 3 years proven experience working with CNC machinery, such as mills, lathes, or grinders.
