About The Role

As a Credit Processing Analyst, you will play a vital role in our organization's back-office operations. Your primary responsibility will be to handle credit-related inquiries and processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. You will be the bridge between our customers and the credit processing system, providing accurate and timely information and support.

Process and review credit applications, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Evaluate creditworthiness of customers and make informed decisions on credit approvals.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all credit-related transactions.
Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses regarding credit processes.
Collaborate with the customer care team to resolve complex credit-related issues.
Monitor and analyze credit trends and patterns to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Implement and maintain credit scoring models and systems for efficient decision-making.
Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes in credit processing.
Train and mentor junior analysts on credit processing procedures and guidelines.
Ensure data privacy and security by adhering to company policies and regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in credit processing or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of credit analysis and underwriting principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using credit scoring software and tools.
Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the BFSI industry.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
