About The Role
The Associate Divisional Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing logistics operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and picking processes, and maintaining high stock accuracy. They will be responsible for driving cost and process efficiency, attending meetings, and escalating issues to management. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and people management skills, as well as expertise in material handling equipment and safety protocols.
- Review daily operations of receiving, storage, and picking at Vehicle Assembly.
- Drive and manage KPIs for all logistics processes, including turnaround time, invoice submission, and improper supplier packaging reports.
- Attend meetings and escalate issues related to warehouse operations to management.
- Identify process gaps and work with teams to implement improvement actions.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to PM schedules for equipment, ramps, and shutters.
- Identify unsafe conditions and acts to maintain a safe work environment.
- Review team kaizen performance and implement process improvements.
- Participate in management projects to enhance operational efficiency and cost savings.
- Conduct knowledge-building exercises and continuous training for team members.
- Monitor and review key metrics such as SQDCM performance, COGI value, scrap value, and IAR closure.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and MS Office package.
- Experience in change and new product management, inventory analysis, and cycle count processes.
- Excellent people handling, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently, drive initiatives, and train others.
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge and experience.
- Passion for continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Knowledge of material handling equipment and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
