POSITION PROFILE

Must have the ability to read and comprehend furniture drawings, and create detailed cut lists . Perform the cutting, joinery, assembly and finish sanding of furniture frames, decorative sofa and chair bases, small tables, consoles, and benches.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assembly of products:
  • Product completion per Production Schedule
  • Meet all critical dimensions and product characteristics.
  • Maintain work station clean, organized and safe.
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.
  • Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.
  • Observe all company policies and standard practices.
  • Participate on all required continuous improvement activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years previous experience of woodworking.
  • Reading and understanding drawings, dimensions, views and tolerances.
  • Proficient using equipment and hand tools such:
  • Bench saw
  • Miter saw/Radial saw
  • Band saw
  • Planer/Jointer
  • Electrical tools: Router, screw driver, sander.
  • Hand tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and flawless results.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member
