We are seeking passionate and skilled Perioperative Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne, across our four sites of Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

This is a casual position within our Resource Unit and is your opportunity to work within a leading surgical environment that continues to grow — with significant expansion in Orthopaedic, Neurosurgery, and Cardiothoracic surgery, and the completion of our major redevelopment featuring new operating theatres, ICU, maternity services, and inpatient wards .

In this rewarding opportunity you will have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts and if your scrub scout experience lies in any of the following specialties, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Orthopaedic
  • Neurosurgery
  • Cardiothoracic
  • Colorectal / UGIS
  • Plastics
  • Ophthalmology / Vitreoretinal
  • Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

ABOUT YOU

As an outstanding Perioperative Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse you are passionate about playing a vital role in providing exceptional surgical care.

Your skills and experience include

  • Minimum 2 years’ recent perioperative nursing experience (Registered or Enrolled Nurse)
  • At least 12 months’ specialty scrub/scout experience
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Post Graduate Certificate (or working towards) in Perioperative Nursing (desirable for RNs)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality patient care
