Senior Programme Officer / Programme Officer (26270097)
The appointee is expected to serve as a key administrator of the Undergraduate Programme of AVA.
Responsibilities
- Provide full range of administrative support to the BA (Hons) Visual Arts Programme, including curriculum-related and quality assurance exercise, admission, course and exam scheduling, recruitment of part-time lecturers, liaison with academic and teaching staff, and exchange activities;
- Provide secretarial support to various committees of the Programme;
- Handle students' enquiries and matters;
- Compile statistics and relevant reports; and
- Perform other duties as assigned by AVA’s Director, Programme Director and his/her delegate(s).
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of post-qualification work experience preferably in programme administration/tertiary institutions;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Be a good team member with effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Self-motivated, detail-minded and able to work independently;
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint); and
- Immediate availability is highly desirable.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
- The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract for up to two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
- Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
