About The Role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and management of all workshop operations, ensuring efficient execution of repair, assembly, and service activities

Coordination and supervision of subcontractors, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and quality assurance

Procurement and inventory management of auxiliary materials and operating supplies materials, spare parts, consumables, and external services to support workshop activities and customer projects

Planning, scheduling, and monitoring of customer orders, repair jobs, and service projects within the ERP system

Ensuring compliance with quality standards through inspections, process controls, and final quality checks before delivery

Management of workshop resources, including personnel, equipment, tools, and capacity planning to meet customer and business requirements

Close collaboration with sales, engineering, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution

Monitoring project costs, delivery schedules, and performance indicators to achieve operational and financial targets

Supporting customer communications regarding repair status, technical requirements, delivery schedules, and service expectations

Reviewing technical documentation, work instructions, and repair specifications to ensure accurate execution of all workshop activities

Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, safety, and process optimization

Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards throughout all workshop operations

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of workshop activities, procurement processes, quality inspections, and project performance within the ERP system

Providing leadership, training, and guidance to workshop personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven hands-on experience in the assembly, maintenance, and repair of gearboxes and winches
  • Strong technical understanding and affinity for mechanical systems, ideally in drive technology
  • Structured and independent working style with a high level of responsibility and reliability
  • Experience in customer service or technical field service is highly desirable
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel, including international assignments (approx. 20%)
  • Team player with strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to professionally interact with clients on-site and represent the company
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (Sage) is a plus
  • Participation in ongoing technical training and willingness to continuously develop skills
