AutoCAD Draftman - Static Equipment

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with experience in static equipment for the Oil & Gas industry. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and shop drawings for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and other static equipment as per project and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD for static equipment fabrication.
• Develop GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with design engineers, production, and QA/QC departments.
• Review technical specifications, client drawings, and project requirements.
• Modify and revise drawings based on engineering comments.
• Prepare material take-off and support documentation when required.
• Ensure all drawings comply with ASME, client, and project standards.
• Maintain drawing records and revision control.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.
• 3–7 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman in Oil & Gas or fabrication industry.
• Strong experience in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and structural/fabrication drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Good understanding of fabrication processes and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with ASME codes and Saudi Aramco standards is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in fabrication workshops or EPC companies.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical calculations and BOM preparation.
• Experience working with Saudi Aramco standards is preferred.
