Position Overview
- As part of SiGMA Group’s continued global expansion, we are launching a dedicated
- FX-focused subdivision under the AIBC brand. The Managing Director will have full
- ownership and accountability for the strategy, growth, performance, and long-term
- success of the FX subdivision.
- This is a senior leadership role responsible for building and scaling the FX vertical
- across conferences, exhibitions, sponsorships, partnerships, and content, while
- ensuring strong alignment with SiGMA Group’s overall strategy, standards, and
- commercial objectives. The Managing Director will act in the best interests of the FX
- subdivision and SiGMA Group, serving as a key strategic leader, driving commercial
- performance, building high-performing teams, and representing the FX division
- internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Define and execute the overall strategy, vision, and growth roadmap for the FX
subdivision in line with SiGMA Group objectives.
- Own the P&L performance of the FX vertical, driving sustainable revenue growth
through events, sponsorships, partnerships, and commercial initiatives.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within FX, fintech, payments, and
financial services markets.
- Make agile, commercially sound decisions to support rapid growth and market
positioning.
Business & Infrastructure Development
- Establish, scale, and oversee the FX subdivision’s commercial, content, and
operational teams.
- Oversee the development and positioning of FX-related event brands, conferences,
and platforms within AIBC and SiGMA’s global portfolio.
- Build and refine internal processes, structures, and workflows to support scalable
growth.
- Collaborate with group marketing, sales, events, and operations teams to ensure
consistent delivery and brand alignment.
Leadership & Internal Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and manage senior team members, fostering a high-performance and
accountable culture.
- Work closely with Group leadership, Founders, and C-level executives to ensure
alignment with overall business strategy.
- Act as a central point of coordination between the FX subdivision and other SiGMA
Group verticals.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Define, implement, and monitor clear KPIs across all FX teams and initiatives.
- Provide regular reporting to Founders and Group C-level management on
performance, progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Continuously assess performance and optimize strategy, resources, and execution.
Representation & Travel
- Represent the FX subdivision and SiGMA Group at international events,
conferences, and industry meetings.
- Undertake business travel as required to support partnerships, commercial growth,
and event delivery.
Governance & Ad Hoc Responsibilities
- Ensure activities are conducted in line with Group policies, standards, and ethical
principles.
- Undertake any additional ad hoc or ancillary tasks related to the FX subdivision and
SiGMA Group as required.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Proven senior leadership experience (Managing Director, General Manager, or
equivalent) within events, media, fintech, FX, iGaming, or related industries.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in scaling business units
and driving revenue growth.
- Experience building and leading multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced,
international environments.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including board level
interaction.
- Ability to make decisive, data-driven decisions in a growth-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong advantage.
