Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to support data processing and analytics
workloads in Azure.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate the deployment of Azure Data Factory,
Synapse Analytics, and Databricks resources.
- Build and orchestrate scalable data workflows and integration pipelines across cloud environments.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of the data platform components.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and security teams to align the infrastructure with business and
compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting system reliability and observability.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks in a production environment.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (preferably Azure Kubernetes Service – AKS).
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and cost optimization strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
