What you’ll do

• Support and maintain a specific platform or application including creation of new environments, software upgrades, and tuning.
• Contributing in the creation and amendment of automation scripts and supporting documentation.
• Provide software deployment services for QA and production environments.
• Assist with application performance monitoring and tuning.
• Be actively involved in protecting the uptime and performance of the application.
• Ability to understand complex business issues and identify technical solutions.
• Ability to communicate direction clearly to other members of the team.
• Evaluate the impact of the updates on the system and assess any associated risks.
• Check for compatibility issues with existing applications and services.
• Conduct extensive testing to ensure that the updates do not cause any unexpected issues.
• Deploy the updates to the production environment.
• Identify the root cause of the issues and work on implementing the required changes to fix them.

What experience you need

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent job experience required
• 2-5 years of professional experience and/or related training in specific platform tools
• Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred

• GCP Experience or similar (AWS - Azure)
• English Fluency
• CI/CD
• Terraform or similar
