Due to the continuous growth of our company, we are currently looking for a Senior Lead Platform Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Design secure, highly available, and scalable production platforms.
  • Define and govern enterprise architecture standards, principles, and technology roadmaps.
  • Lead architecture reviews and provide technical leadership across complex customer engagements.
  • Drive cloud transformation, platform modernization, and DevOps adoption.
  • Promote best practices in security, automation, observability, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.
  • Mentor technical teams and support strategic technology decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud architecture, platform engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory, LDAP, OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Zero Trust principles.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Helm.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Jenkins, GitLab, Argo CD, and artifact repository management (Nexus / Artifactory).
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix and Microsoft Windows Server administration.
  • Good knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL database platforms, including high availability, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and operational best practices.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, firewalls, SSL/TLS, reverse proxies, and load balancing.
  • Experience in designing and operating enterprise-scale production environments.
  • Familiarity with automation, observability, disaster recovery, and operational excellence practices.
  • Fluency in Greek and in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Multi-tasking and organizational skills, ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
