Optometrist

Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are working with VES (Veteran Evaluation Services) to staff Optometrists to provide their services to veterans in our Rockville, MD headquarters. The Optometrist is expected to perform the following:

• Performs eye examinations for visual defects and does refractions by means of such instruments as the Ophthalmometer, Skiascope, Ophthalmoscope and Retinoscope.
• Prescribes lenses, prisms or visual exercises to improve vision without use of medicine, drugs or surgery.
• Refers patients having ocular manifestations of disease to an Ophthalmologist.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of Optometry.
• A license to practice Optometry in the State of Maryland.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
