IT Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure and endpoint devices , providing advanced technical support, and driving continuous improvement in our operational processes. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in IT operations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

• Oversee and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of all IT systems and services.
• Manage virtualization technologies (Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure).
• Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure proactive identification of potential issues.
• Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.

Endpoint (Computer) Support

• Provide advanced support for endpoint devices (Windows and Macbooks)
• Ensure the proper deployment, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and software applications.
• Manage endpoint security, including antivirus, encryption, and patch management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
• Provide advanced technical support to internal teams and end-users

Backup and Disaster Recovery

• Manage backup solution to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Perform regular backup tests and updates.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT operations or a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of server, storage and network administration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Active directory and Office 365
• Familiarity with IT monitoring tools (Zabbix)
• Familiarity with FortiGate Firewalls
• Knowledge in Veeam Backup solution
• Expertise in endpoint management and support, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of endpoint security measures and management tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
