About The Role
Advocate Health is seeking a weekend obstetrics, part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our esteemed Anesthesiology Team at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center , located in the vibrant community of Elkhorn, WI . This position offers a supportive team environment, and the chance to practice in a nationally recognized hospital.
Position Highlights
- Part-time opportunity (0.4 FTE) with a recruitment incentive: Eligible candidates may qualify for an FTE-adjusted sign-on bonus based on applicable program and commitment requirements.
- Competitive Benefits
- $121/hour - $159 hour
- OB shifts are 24 or 48-hours. 48-hr Weekend shifts can be accommodated.
- 0.4 FTE: 17.3 weekends/year
- In-house shift. Call room provided.
- No Non-Competes: Work locums at non-Advocate Health locations
Clinical Duties
- Preoperative evaluation of the obstetric patient, labor analgesia and neuraxial techniques, appropriate anesthesia and analgesia modalities for c-sections.
- Additionally, the provider is responsible for narcotic accounting and distribution, as well as performing various patient positioning and transporting duties.
Licenses & Certifications
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and
- Nurse Anesthetist certification (CRNA) issued by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and
- Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license issued by the state of Wisconsin, and
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration, and
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required, and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required, or
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)/American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required.
