Hourly Rate

  • AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $33.83 ou/or $53.31 (Sept. 2026 - Aug. 2027)
  • The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
  • Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
  • These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
  • These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

  • Leading lab activities
  • Reviewing material
  • Helping to develop and review lab material and assessments
  • Helping to manage Brightspace discussion forum and meet with students
  • Grading final assessments

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and direct expertise with, R (required) and other statistical programs (an asset) to design an analytical strategy for health data, implement it, and interpret the output.
  • Must be able to perform descriptive analysis, parameter estimation and hypothesis testing as well as nonparametric tests, power calculation and regression modeling. Advanced critical appraisal and communication skills.
  • Experience being able to tailor communication of statistical concepts and programming strategies to learners with varied levels of expertise.
  • Previous completion of EPI 5242 or PBH 5107 within the past 2 years with a high average is considered an asset.
