Location: Denver
Salary Range: $28.00 / hr
This position performs embryo culture, embryo morphological assessment and other assays as part of the analysis of raw material and finished goods manufactured by Vitrolife. Troubleshoots and maintains sensitive culture system. Maintains strict adherence to quality system. Demonstrates a basic understanding of the in-vitro fertilization process, scientific background of Vitrolife products, and application of MEA as one of several quality control tests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination of assay scheduling.
- Performs routine mouse embryo assays.
- Troubleshoots and maintains culture system.
- Performs general laboratory duties.
- Maintains accurate records.
- Adherence to GLP, SOP's, internal quality systems, and regulatory standards.
- Assist with developing test methods for non-routine samples (MEA).
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree in biology, Zoology, Animal Science, or related course work is preferred.
- Relevant experience may substitute for degree requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience working directly in an embryo lab is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
