Job Details
Purpose
- To assist UT Speech and Hearing Center's front desk
Responsibilities
- Front desk/reception – assist with client check-in/check-out.
- Issue parking permits, and handle payment transactions.
- Provide clinical information via phone, email, and in person.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for audiology and speech clients.
- General administrative support including campus errands, photocopying, filing, maintaining clinical supplies, and assisting with special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Current student at UT Austin and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) for the current regular semester, in good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation or academic dismissal).
- open to work study and non-work study
- Work Shift: Applicants will be expected to work during clinic business hours of Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish
- Must be comfortable working with clients, faculty, staff, and fellow students
- Semester appointment with the potential to be extended
