We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistic business Support to join our Supply Chain team. This role is critical in supporting the supervision, monitoring, and continuous improvement of logistics services across the business while ensuring effective cost control and performance management. The successful candidate will provide operational and analytical support across all logistics activities, including land transport, marine operations, aviation, travel management, freight forwarding, and customs transit activities, while working closely with the Supply Chain Manager and operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Cost Control & Financial Management

  • Ensure logistics costs are accurately allocated and booked on time across all assets and corporate cost centres, in line with operational activities.
  • Manage fuel-related costs and invoices, ensuring correct allocation across WBS elements, cost centres, and capital expenditure projects.
  • Monitor logistics budgets and expenditures, providing cost analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making.
  • Create, manage, and track purchase orders (POs) in line with annual budgets and operational requirements.
  • Work closely with Contract Representatives and Contract Analysts to monitor contract spend and identify cost optimisation opportunities.

Supply Chain & Logistics Operations

  • Manage SAP workflows related to logistics activities, including land transportation, marine services, aviation, travel services, freight forwarding, contracts, and procurement.
  • Support invoice processing, purchase order management, logistics service orders, freight forwarding activities, and customs clearance formalities.
  • Ensure efficient coordination and execution of logistics operations to support business continuity and operational requirements.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Review logistics workstreams to ensure accurate and timely collection of operational data from field sites.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve logistics performance monitoring tools and processes.
  • Design and implement fit-for-purpose KPIs for each logistics service area and monitor performance against targets.
  • Conduct performance review meetings with contractors and Assala contract representatives, track action plans, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Develop and implement reporting tools to monitor fuel consumption, costs, and performance trends, sharing key insights with stakeholders.

Reporting, Compliance & Audit Support

  • Collect, analyse, validate, and report logistics data required by shareholders, stakeholders, and internal departments.
  • Prepare and distribute performance reports to support business and operational objectives.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, analysis, and responses to audit requests.
  • Assist with investigations and ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Operational Support

  • Provide high-quality support to operations across all logistics and supply chain activities.
  • Act as a key point of coordination between logistics, supply chain, finance, procurement, and operational teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of logistics processes and systems to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a logistics, supply chain, or supervisory role within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, including land transport, marine, aviation, travel, freight forwarding, and customs processes.
  • Experience in cost control, budgeting, invoice management, and financial analysis.
  • Experience supporting internal controls, compliance processes, and audit activities.
  • Practical experience using SAP and logistics management systems.
