About The Role
What You’ll Do (Job Duties)
- Conduct regular inspections of the property, including the building perimeter, hallways, and stairwells.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and report suspicious activity.
- Respond to disturbances and emergencies as needed.
- Coordinate resident moves and ensure common areas are protected.
- Operate the elevator control system to direct visitors to the correct floors.
- Greet residents, guests, and visitors at the kiosk in a welcoming manner.
- Answer phones and provide information to callers.
- Maintain the appearance of the lobby, elevators, and package room.
- Assist residents with package delivery and retrieval.
- Document discrepancies, incidents, and emergency responses.
- Complete daily activity reports and pass-on logs.
- Maintain inventory of forms, supplies, and other items.
- Adhere to HOA rules, regulations, and emergency procedures.
- Understand and implement emergency procedures.
- Report complaints and non-compliance issues to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Who You Are (Skills/Experience)
- A minimum of 1 year of security or relevant experience is preferred.
- Skilled problem solver with high attention to detail and a high sense of ethics and honesty.
- Ability to respond swiftly to safety and emergency related situations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- General computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and the ability to learn and operate the property management software utilized by Action Property Management.
- Must be 18 years of age and be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Physical ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds as needed
