 We have an exciting new role in our Governance Services team in Singapore!

The primary focus of this role will be to provide ongoing assistance to the Governance Services team in respect of the high-quality administration of a portfolio of corporate clients as part of Mourant's provision of corporate administration services. This will include the client acceptance process, all aspects of the onboarding and ongoing administration and the termination of client entities.

You will provide support to the Governance Services team in respect of ongoing day to day operational matters and will work closely with colleagues and lawyers at Mourant, both in Singapore and overseas, on the day-to-day administration of client entities.

About the role

You will assist with the administration of a portfolio of corporate clients and ensure that client relationships and transactions are managed effectively and to a high standard in professional manner in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures by, including but not limited to:

  • Formation/registration of entities in Singapore
  • Experience with ACRA filings and maintaining statutory records
  • Drafting minutes and supporting documents
  • Maintaining entities' information within the corporate services practice management database
  • Maintaining entities' minute books and transaction folder
  • Work closely with the operations and compliance teams throughout the KYC process
  • Liaise with clients to collect the necessary KYC Due Diligence information and documents
  • Prepare necessary information according to the KYC documents received from clients for Compliance Team's review, and to complete KYC profiles
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and in-house policy in operations
  • Attending training (physical or online) in accordance with the firm's policies

About you

  • Demonstratable corporate administration experience with a Singapore law firm, fund administrator, accounting firm or a local CSP
  • Able to review client constitutional and KYC documents for static and other KYC information update
  • Familiar with MAS regulations in relation to ML/TF
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft desktop software. Knowledge of specialist industry software e.g. Viewpoint
  • Detail-oriented, organised and strong sense of responsibility
  • Attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible, "can do" attitude
  • Able to work under pressure and short deadlines
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken)
