About The Role
The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the direct sales cycle for Authority-owned properties, including formulating flat mix proposals, setting pricing and marketing strategy, supervising marketing campaigns, liaising with agencies, finali s ing legal documents with solicitors , and coordinating with planning, project, and property management teams
- Collaborate strategically with JV Developers to steer end-to-end sales strategies, comprehensively evaluating marketing plans, pricing, disposal mechanism and payment terms to align with the Authority’s objectives while safeguarding project interests
- Ensure sales brochures and related documentation are in full compliance with Development Agreements, Land Grants, as well as the Authority’s and statutory requirements
- Carry out in-depth market and feasibility analyses to develop practical pricing models, effective incentive programs, and phased sales strategies that are tailored to the current Hong Kong property market and take into account the compensation packages for redevelopment projects
- Monitor departmental sales budgets, present robust performance analyses and status reports to senior management
- Drive the execution of subsidi s ed housing initiatives, overseeing the comprehensive process to ensure seamless sales launches
- Develop and implement various technology tools to drive operational efficiency across all processes, ensuring these solutions are closely aligned with organizational objectives, compliance requirements, and stakeholder needs
Requirements
- Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in property sales, marketing and promotion
- Possession of professional membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (General Practice Division), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Chartered Institute of Housing or Hong Kong Institute of Housing, or equivalent is preferable.
- Thorough knowledge of current property market, property sales and tenancy law
- Analytical thinking, innovative, and strong commercial acumen
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and empower team members while helping them stay equipped with the latest market trends, innovations, and technologies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
