About our Internship Program

Join the One Acre Fund 2026 Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Internship Program to jump-start your career. We empower you as you grow in this program which is especially designed for motivated young professionals.

About the Role

We are seeking One MEL Data Automation officer for 6 month internships to support our Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team. As an intern, you will contribute to impactful projects aimed at enhancing One Acre Fund’s ability to serve farmers and improve agricultural productivity and incomes. You will gain exposure to real-world data challenges and opportunities to generate actionable insights. You will work as a part of our dynamic MEL team and will directly report to the MEL Leads.

This is a JL3 internship position with a 6-month fixed-term contract. No extension will be offered.

Your responsibilities may include one or more of the following

  • Clean and analyze primary data collected from the farmers and markets.
  • Visualize results and compile them into actionable reports and automated dashboards.

You have

  • Education in Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience cleaning and analyzing large datasets.
  • Proficiency in R or Stata.
  • Skills in data visualization and report writing.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Prior experience is an advantage, ideally at least one year in a relevant role.
