The Strategic Finance team closely works with the entire business units within MoneyHero Group, sets targets / allocates budgets by functions, and provides insights on business and financial performance to business partners. The team also leads various external fundraising initiatives and inorganic growth projects.

About the Job
This role based in either Hong Kong or Singapore, will lead the group level financial budgeting process encompassing four local markets (HK, SG, TW, PH) and regional businesses. In addition to the financial forecasting and analysis, the manager will collaborate closely with Corporate Development and the wider Finance team in taking part in strategic initiatives such as Investor Relations, M&A, fundraising, etc.
The Associate Director will take a leadership role in managing a team of two in defining and communicating financial narratives to both internal and external stakeholders across the Group, enabling data-driven decision-making at scale.
The Associate Director, Strategic Finance will be responsible for
Preparation of financial forecast, including liaising with the operations team to gather relevant data, conducting thorough analyses, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and objectives
Lead financial budgeting process, coordinating with responsible businesses to align group level initiatives with local strategies, help identify risks and opportunities, and evaluate ROIs of various projects and help prioritize the investments
Be the expert at building financial models and provide data analytics to better understand business conditions, and evaluate the economic implications and trade-offs of various business actions
Be the trusted partner of four local markets and regional businesses by highlighting performance trends and causes of unexpected variances
Analyse financial performance in various angles – by products, by channels, and by clients and help business take proactive actions to scale the business and improve profitability
Actively provide decision support through continued monitoring of business drivers, industry trends and competitor benchmarking / analysis
Periodically and on an ad-hoc basis, provide various financial analysis reports to senior managements to facilitate business decision-making
Drive continuous improvement of an overall finance function to drive innovation / automation in reporting, planning and analysis
Handle various Investor Relation activities by circulating periodic reports to major investors, and following up their Q&As
Take in part of strategic initiatives such as M&A and fundraising activities, including building valuation models, handling due diligence, and being engaged in various strategic discussions
Stay abreast of fintech capital market trends (e.g., changing valuation methodologies, sector-specific KPIs) and proactively advise leadership on evolving investor expectations
In this role, we are looking for someone with
7+ years of work experience in similar roles (FP&A, Corp Dev, IB, strategy/consulting, etc.)
Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration (e.g., with Product, Tech, or Marketing) to embed finance into the product lifecycle and growth strategies
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. Master/MBA is a plus
Strong quantitative and effective communication skills
Motivated self-starter with intrapreneurship mindset
Ability to navigate through ambiguity and set up best practices
