Seasonal Supervisor

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to operations personnel to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols ensuring a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
• Coach and mentor the team to ensure they are well-trained in tools and processes.
• Handle employee relations, such as performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary issues.
• Manage timekeeping, attendance, and vacation schedules to ensure smooth operations and optimal workforce availability.
• Analyze operational data to help identify areas of improvement and collaborate with other departments
• Ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation of the department to meet standards.
• Provide training and technical assistance in other departments.
• Match the skill and background of personnel to work required.
• Assist in developing a program to train and motivate personnel for increased effectiveness.

May be involved in various projects and cross training in other areas/responsibilities.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Prior success in lead/supervisory role preferred including organizing and prioritizing work and utilizing sound judgement.
• Previous experience utilizing independent decision making.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Competent use of AS400/Microsoft Office (email), basic computer skills
• Must have the ability to motivate staff and handle a variety of both personnel and technical issues on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to handle and diffuse stressful situations.
• Excellent overall customer service skills.
