Open Position: Mechanical Roll Maintenance

Job Description Summary

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the roll and equipment from customer in CIK workshop and production equipment to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. You will support our production targets by following established work procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Work Complexity & Impact

Works under moderate supervision. Tasks are generally routine but may occasionally require interpretation or adjustment from standard procedures. Communicates information that may need some explanation or clarification.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and workshop equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Load materials into workshop machines promptly and efficiently.
• Remove, pack, and organize raw materials or finished products.
• Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with company waste‑handling and recycling procedures.
• Clean workshop equipment and maintain work areas to comply with health and safety standards.
• Perform the mechanical maintenance and assembly for roller and other equipment.
• Perform other tasks assigned by Workshop Supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum educational requirement: D3 in Mechanical Engineering (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Experience in the pulp and paper industry will be considered an advantage.
• Willing to work in Cikarang, Jawa Barat.
• Able to work independently to complete assigned tasks, follow work instructions carefully, and meet operational specifications, schedules, volume, cost, and quality targets.
