Peer Assisted Learning Hub - Program Evening Lab Supervisor

Oversee the Peer Assisted Learning Hub Program Sunday–Thursday, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. during the fall and spring academic semesters. This is a nine (9) month, part-time position.

Job Duties

• Supervise students and student workers.
• Communicate and enforce institution policies.
• Trouble-shoot problems with equipment as needed.
• Gain knowledge learning management software.
• Perform general office duties to include data entry, filing, answering the telephone, greeting students, and monitoring traffic.
• Check-out office materials for faculty and students as needed.
• Keep records of facility utilization through check-in system.
• Close and secure EDGE at night.
• Special projects as assigned by the EDGE Team.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma. One year of related work experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of computers. Previous customer service experience working with the public.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related areas; Two years prior work experience in an educational setting. Some experience in a supervisory role. Ability to tutor STEM related subjects.

Minimum Required Education

High School/G.E.D.
