About The Role
Part-Time Production Operators
*All Shifts Available | Training Provided | Growth Opportunity
We hire for attitude, reliability, communication, and potential.
Production or machine operation experience is helpful but not required. We will train candidates who bring strong work habits, positive energy, good judgment, and a willingness to learn.
About the Opportunity
SFX continues to grow and we are looking for dependable, team-oriented individuals to join our production team as Part-Time Production Operators. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants steady part-time hours, and is ready to learn valuable production skills in a supportive environment.
The right candidate does not need to come in with technical machine experience. What matters most is reliability, attention to detail, a positive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to recognize when something does not look right and speak up quickly.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will help support high-speed mail production equipment in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. You will be trained to follow job instructions, monitor quality, identify issues early, and communicate clearly with leads, supervisors, and team members.
- Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment according to job requirements and work instructions.
- Review job documentation, audit sheets, and order information to help ensure work is accurate.
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process and identify issues before they become bigger problems.
- Communicate clearly and promptly when there are delays, errors, equipment concerns, missing information, or other issues.
- Learn basic troubleshooting steps to help keep production moving safely and efficiently.
- Assist with product changeovers, machine adjustments, handwork, reprints, and other production tasks as needed.
- Complete required logs, including maintenance notes and machine downtime reporting.
- Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized production area.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production goals, deadlines, and service-level expectations.
- Safely move carts and materials, including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
What We Are Looking For
We are more interested in finding the right person than finding someone who already knows the equipment. Previous production or machine operation experience is a plus, but it is not required.
