IVY Reporter for the Interreg Programme "Alpine Space"

About The Role
The Joint Secretariat Interreg Alpine Space is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Programme “2021 - 2027 Interreg VI-B Alpine Space", which co-finances and supports cooperation projects across the borders of seven Alpine countries, tackling common challenges and improving the quality of life of the 80 million inhabitants of the Alpine region.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities
Support for communication and visibility activities during meetings and events
- Participate in programme meetings, events, and conferences to gather communication content and document key moments for visibility purposes;
- Support communication activities during training, networking, and stakeholder events through photo documentation, interviews, social media coverage, and event reporting;
- Contribute to the promotion of events related to Interreg cooperation and the Alpine area by preparing communication materials before, during, and after events;
- Collect success stories, testimonials, and good practices from projects and programme stakeholders for communication purposes;
- Support the dissemination of event outcomes through articles, social media content, newsletters, and website updates.
Support for strengthening the visibility of Interreg cooperation
- Contribute to communication activities highlighting cooperation among Interreg projects, EUSALP, the Alpine Convention, and other relevant stakeholders;
- Promote youth engagement in Interreg by supporting communication activities related to the EUSALP Youth Council and the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) network;
- Identify and collect examples of project achievements, cooperation successes, and positive impacts on citizens and territories for communication purposes;
- Support the analysis of communication performance indicators and contribute ideas to further increase the visibility and outreach of programme communication activities.
Support for the promotion of the programme and its projects
- Draft articles, news items, interviews, and success stories for the programme website, newsletter, and other communication channels;
- Support the publication and dissemination of newsletter content and communication campaigns;
- Update and promote the project and output library, showcasing project results and good practices;
- Support website content updates (WordPress) and ensure communication materials remain accessible and up to date;
- Draft and publish social media content to increase awareness of the programme and its achievements;
- Provide photo and multimedia documentation during events and project visits.
Support for the development of communication tools and the valorisation of programme results
- Assist in the creation of communication materials, including videos, promotional content, and storytelling formats highlighting project achievements;
- Support the development of communication templates and visual materials that strengthen the programme's identity and visibility;
- Contribute to the organisation and valorisation of communication archives, ensuring that photos, publications, videos, and other communication assets can be effectively reused;
- Support the creation of communication resources that help projects better communicate their results and impact to citizens and stakeholders.
Other information
- Financial support of: 39.20 euros per day (week-end and holidays included) .
- Location: Salzburg, Austria.
- Start and duration: Starting in September, for 5/6 months.
- Languages*: English (C1), German (A2).
