Job Summary**
Primoris Energy Services is seeking a qualified Electrician to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on various projects in Sherman, Texas. This role requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities**
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and local electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose problems, and determine appropriate solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Connect power to various equipment, including motors, control panels, and lighting systems.
- Inspect electrical components and systems for hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with other trades and project team members to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
Job Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license for the state of Texas (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a qualified Electrician, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
