The Digital & Transformation Manager will lead the end-to-end digital and business transformation agenda for FBSG, enabling step-change improvements in performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.
This role is accountable for shaping and executing a forward-looking digital strategy that supports the site’s capacity ramp-up toward 2027 and beyond, embedding data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and scalable digital solutions across the value stream.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own Fan Blade Singapore's (FBSG) digital and transformation strategy aligned to business objectives and Rolls-Royce enterprise priorities
- Identify high-impact opportunities across manufacturing, supply chain, and support functions
- Build a clear, phased roadmap toward 2027+ with measurable value outcomes
- Drive business improvement initiatives across SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People)
- Translate operational challenges into structured transformation programs with clear ROI
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to eliminate waste, improve productivity, and enhance flow
- Champion a data-driven culture by improving visibility, accessibility, and use of operational data
- Deploy digital tools (dashboards, predictive analytics, AI where relevant) to support real-time decision-making
- Partner with IT and engineering teams to ensure robust data architecture and governance
- Lead adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies (automation, IoT, digital twins where applicable)
- Evaluate and scale solutions that enhance capability, resilience, and throughput
- Interface with external partners (e.g., research institutes, vendors) to bring innovation into FBSG
- Act as a transformation leader—driving mindset and behavioural change across the organization
- Build internal capability in digital literacy, problem solving, and continuous improvement
- Coach leaders and teams to sustain improvements and embed new ways of working
- Establish strong governance, tracking, and reporting mechanisms for all transformation initiatives
- Ensure disciplined execution, risk management, and benefit realization
- Provide regular updates to site leadership and global stakeholders
- Measurable improvements in productivity, cost efficiency, and throughput
- Increased digital adoption and data-driven decision-making across the site
- Successful delivery of transformation roadmap milestones aligned to 2027 ramp
- Strengthened operational resilience (machine, people, method)
- Positive cultural shift toward continuous improvement and innovation
Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field
- 8–12+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations excellence, or transformation roles
- Proven track record in leading digital or business transformation programs in complex environments
- Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and/or operational excellence frameworks
- Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies, data analytics, or digital tools in manufacturing
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels
