Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) / Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) PRN

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) / Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory conditions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and mechanical ventilation
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and treatment progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and modify patient care plans
  • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of respiratory equipment
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations requiring respiratory intervention

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Current CRT or RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Proven experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures, equipment, and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs
  • Flexibility to work PRN shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
