About The Role

The Campus Visit Assistant assists with the day-to-day activities of the Mabel Cook Admissions and Visitors’ Center and tour program. The Campus Visit Assistant will work closely with the Admissions-Recruitment team to assist with all campus recruitment activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Serve as the lead Visitors’ Center representative in day-to-day operations, ensuring every prospective student and guest receives an exceptional customer experience.
  • Opens and closes the Mabel Cook Admissions & Visitors’ Center, receives all visitors and answers the Visitors’ Center main phone line.
  • Serve as a frontline representative during recruitment events by greeting guests, providing directions, answering questions, and troubleshooting logistical issues.
  • Assists Daily Tour Coordinator with scheduling faculty appointments, registering visits, and managing events calendar.
  • Assists with departmental visit days, including, but not limited to: event setup, guest services, and post-event wrap-up.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area and visitor spaces; ensure Visitors’ Center resources are stocked and organized.
  • Work collaboratively with recruitment staff, student ambassadors, and campus partners to provide exceptional visitor experiences.
  • Maintain accurate visitor records within the University’s CRM (inputting student data, event registration, and communications with prospective students).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: High School diploma (Preferred: some coursework toward a bachelor’s degree)
  • Experience: 1 year experience in the field or a related area

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position will work in an office environment from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch break. This position may require additional night and weekend hours.
