Quantity Surveyor -II

Job Description – Quantity Surveyor II | Gurgaon

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management , or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, and Commercial Management, preferably within buildings, infrastructure, or urban development projects .
• Prepare and review quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities for civil and construction works.
• Undertake measurement and valuation of works and review contractor submissions, interim payment applications, and final accounts.
• Support pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities .
• Assist in preparation of tender documentation, pricing schedules, cost plans, and bid evaluation .
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and cost forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and assess variations, claims, and additional works in coordination with project and commercial teams.
• Support cost reporting, financial tracking, and commercial risk management .
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, project managers, and client representatives to resolve commercial and quantity-related issues.
• Ensure quantity surveying deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed project timelines and quality standards .
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documentation .
• Knowledge of measurement standards, construction contracts, and relevant codes/practices .
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant QS / cost management software ; experience with BIM-based quantity take-off tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills .
• Experience working on large-scale multidisciplinary projects and within a consulting environment will be preferred.
• Willingness to work from the Gurgaon office and collaborate with multidisciplinary and international project teams.
