Forklift Operative - Backyard & Intake

• We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operative working in our Backyard and Intake area at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
• Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off - Rolling shift, working 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs
• Salary: £13.70 per hour

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods and materials within the production area and warehouse.
• Ensure accurate information is recorded on all paperwork and box tickets.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues or required maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to a positive and productive atmosphere.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required to support overall operations.

Requirements

• Valid Forklift Truck License is required.
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Physical fitness and capability to handle lifting and moving heavy items.
