We are recruiting for a Senior in the Insurance Audit team at KPMG Resource Centre Private Limited (KRCPL). Working as a Senior in this team, your responsibilities will include:

— In-charging audits as the Lead Senior on audit engagements.

— Planning and execution of audit fieldwork and statutory reporting.

— Reporting to audit partners and managers on all salient points arising from audits & tracking open issues until resolved.

— Building relationships with client staff and acting as an ambassador for the firm.

— Ensuring deliverables meet necessary quality standards.

— Maintaining data confidentiality and adherence to risk management policies.

— Conducting performance reviews of junior team members.

— Reviewing junior team member’s work and providing timely feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.

— Building relationships with onshore team members.

— Auditing complex sections of the financial statements of companies as per country specific statutory requirements.

Educational qualifications

• Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA or CPA). First time passes are preferable .

• Work experience
• The candidate must have 1–2.5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 firm or other reputed audit firm in a client facing environment working with insurance clients and/or international clients.
• Candidate must have experience of auditing Insurance clients.
