N8N Developer

At CloudSmiths, we help businesses build smarter, faster, and more integrated digital environments. We’re currently looking for skilled n8n Developers to join us on a high-impact contract engagement supporting a dynamic media and advertising client.

In this role, you won't just be connecting APIs—you'll be designing and optimising the automated backbone that keeps creative, production, and media operations moving smoothly. If you enjoy taking messy, manual workflows and transforming them into elegant, automated systems, this project is built for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and deploy custom n8n workflows to automate complex business processes across advertising and media platforms.
• Connect disparate tools, databases, and third-party APIs (REST/GraphQL) to ensure seamless data flow across creative, marketing, and operational teams.
• Write JavaScript or TypeScript snippets within n8n nodes to handle custom logic, data transformation, and edge-case integrations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise existing automated pipelines to ensure high availability and efficient execution.
• Partner directly with technical leads, client stakeholders, and project managers to translate business needs into clean automation logic.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade n8n workflows
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, Webhooks, GraphQL, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, API keys, basic auth).
• Solid proficiency in JavaScript / Node.js or TypeScript for data manipulation and custom logic node development.
• Experience working with JSON payloads, data mapping, filtering, and transformation.
• Ability to map out end-to-end business operations and identify automation bottlenecks.
• Exposure to ad platforms, media workflows, digital asset management (DAM), or marketing tech stacks is a strong plus.
