Pega Operational Specialist

Role Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring, support, and maintenance of Pega applications and platforms to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support Pega production environments and business-critical applications.
• Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues.
• Manage deployments, releases, and environment health checks.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain system availability, security, and operational documentation.
• Support capacity planning, system upgrades, and disaster recovery activities.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, operational procedures, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• Experience supporting Pega applications in production environments.
• Knowledge of Pega platform architecture, deployments, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows servers, databases, and middleware technologies.
• Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
