Key Responsibility Areas

• •Coordinates tasks and activities associated with the quantity survey activities undertaken in the division.
• •Prepares bill of quantities and project estimates.
• •Conducts audit investigations into current projects.
• •Collaborates with Design Engineer on private development projects.
• •Compiles material schedules in conjunction with standard design drawings for various water components.
• •Assesses and reviews material, plant and labour rates on quantity surveying computer programme.
• •Receives, records and allocates incoming projects.
• •Sources costs and technical information from the fabrication workshop on specialised work for capital projects.
• •Prepares contract documentation and monitoring of costs and cash flows on projects.
• •Attends to specific administrative activities associated with the functions of the division.

Essential Requirements

• •Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Building or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• •Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• •1 Year relevant experience.
