Job Summary

• A s a Respiratory Care Assistant, you will play an essential role in the care of ProMedica patients who have respiratory conditions.
• You will assemble, operate and troubleshoot therapeutic and diagnostic equipment and help with clinical instruction.
• In this role, you will teach patients about disease-specific processes , tobacco cessation and respiratory care services provided.

REQUIRE MENTS

• Must be enrolled and in good standing, or a recent graduate of, an ac credited respiratory therapy program
• Ohio facilities – must have a current Limited Permit License to render respiratory care services by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board in the state of Ohio
• Current BLS

PREFER RED REQUIREMENTS

• Membership in the American Association of Respiratory Care ​
