About the Role

At Vilgain, great design is part of the product — not decoration applied at the end. We're building a new mobile app that will become the primary way customers interact with our brand, and we're continuously improving our e-shop to make purchasing as smooth and enjoyable as possible. As a UI/UX Designer, your main focus will be the mobile app, while also contributing to the e-shop experience and ensuring design consistency across both platforms. You'll work closely with the Head of Product CX and CEO, and your designs will ship to real users quickly.

What you will do (Responsibilities)

• Design the UI and UX for the Vilgain mobile app — your primary focus — from wireframes and prototypes through to polished visual design.
• Contribute to the e-shop design — optimising user flows, improving the shopping experience, and ensuring visual consistency.
• Maintain design consistency across both platforms through the shared design system and component library.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and CEO on product direction and design decisions.
• Work with frontend and mobile developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Participate in user research and translate findings into concrete design improvements.

What we are looking for (Requirements)

• Solid UI/UX experience from real commercial projects — a portfolio that demonstrates both craft and outcome thinking.
• E-commerce design experience — must-have. You've worked on an e-shop and understand the purchasing journey.
• Mobile app design experience — must-have. You've designed for iOS and/or Android and understand platform conventions.
• Proficiency in Figma — wireframing, prototyping, and working with component libraries.
• Basic HTML/CSS understanding — enough to know what's feasible and collaborate effectively with developers.
• Attention to detail in both UX logic and visual execution.
• Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
