Job Description Join Heathrow’s Finance team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of one of the world’s busiest airports. As a Finance Analyst in our Portfolio Management team, you’ll help ensure that every investment decision supports our strategic priorities and delivers value for passengers, airlines, and the wider business.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that oversees Heathrow’s capital investment portfolio, ensuring projects are prioritised, funded, and monitored effectively. Success in this role means providing accurate financial insights, supporting robust decision-making, and helping to keep our major programmes on track. Your work will directly influence how we invest in infrastructure, technology, and sustainability initiatives that keep Heathrow moving forward.

- Analysing financial performance across the capital investment portfolio and providing clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of portfolio-level financial models to forecast costs, benefits, and risks.
- Working closely with project managers to track budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Preparing high-quality reports and presentations for governance forums, ensuring decisions are based on accurate and timely information.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of portfolio management processes, tools, and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with experience interpreting complex data.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems, with the ability to produce clear, insightful reports.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, you will also have
- Experience in portfolio or project finance within a large, complex organisation.
- Knowledge of capital investment processes and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with tools such as Power BI or similar for data visualisation.
