About The Role

Summary

The Construction Budget and Financial Manager (“Manager”) is responsible for the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting of capital construction projects across the healthcare system. The Manager serves as the primary financial resource for the Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) Department, ensuring capital projects are accurately budgeted, financially monitored, and managed in alignment with organizational objectives.

The Construction Budget and Financial Manager provides leadership in project requisitions, cost analysis, forecasting, financial risk mitigation, and project financial performance reporting. This role collaborates closely with project managers, finance leaders, contractors, consultants, and operational stakeholders to ensure fiscal stewardship of capital investments and support informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in construction finance, capital budgeting, project controls, project accounting, or construction cost management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing capital project budgets in healthcare, commercial construction, higher education, or similar complex environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in budget forecasting, cost analysis, financial reporting, and capital planning.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
