About The Role
Senior Payroll Analyst will primarily support APAC payroll operations and serve as a key backup across multiple APAC countries. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery while partnering with internal stakeholders and external payroll vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing across APAC countries on a monthly and semi-monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Serve as a payroll subject matter expert (SME) for APAC payroll operations, including local statutory requirements, taxation, and labour law compliance.
- Partner with HR, Finance, employees, and external payroll vendors to ensure seamless payroll delivery and issue resolution.
- Perform payroll validations, reconciliations, and compliance checks to maintain a robust control environment.
- Support payroll accounting activities, funding requirements, statutory payments, and audit requests.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and standardise payroll processes, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong working relationships with external payroll providers, including ADP GlobalView and Celergo.
- Manage payroll inquiries through ticketing systems while delivering a high level of customer service.
- Ensure confidentiality of payroll and employee data in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare payroll reports, metrics, and analyses to support business and compliance needs.
- Assist with internal and external audits and support regulatory reporting requirements.
- 8-10 years of payroll experience, including significant exposure to APAC payroll operations.
- Strong understanding of APAC payroll legislation, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience working with global payroll providers such as ADP GlobalView, Celergo, or similar platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to APAC countries payroll operations – End-to-End Ownership 
- Experience supporting payroll process improvement, automation, or transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with HR case management/ticketing systems and payroll reporting tools.
